Thomas (6-1, 180, 4.3) is rated as the eighth-best overall prospect in Georgia by Scout.com. He is also the nation's 10th-best cornerback prospect.
He committed to Georgia Tech in September, but he is now looking at making visits elsewhere. He is scheduled to see Georgia Tech Dec. 10 and LSU Jan. 14.
"I am pretty solid (to Georgia Tech), but I want to make sure it's the right decision," Thomas said. "Some of the schools I am still considering include LSU, Clemson, Michigan, Ohio State and Louisville in addition to Georgia Tech.
"(OSU assistant Mel) Tucker has been contacting me and I like him a lot. They have talked a lot about me being able to play both ways at wide receiver and corner. Most schools are looking at me as a receiver, but I think I'm equally as good on defense."
As a junior, Thomas had 24 catches for 600 yards and seven touchdowns to go with 36 tackles and two interceptions. This year, he made 28 catches on offense and had three interceptions on defense.
He holds a 2.5 GPA and scored an 870 on the SAT.
