Mike Nugent

2004 Season In Review: Dave Biddle goes position-by-position and gives Ohio State grades for the 2004 football season. Also, Steve Helwagen relives the top ten moments of the year, while the Bucknuts staff weighs in with their thoughts on all the pressing questions -- MVP, biggest surprise, disappointments, next year, and more.

Anthony Schlegel

A Passion For Life - Anthony Schlegel's move to Columbus from the Air Force Academy was a big one, as was the leap from Texas to Columbus for he and his wife. The two are settled in now though, and Charles Babb has the story on how Schlegel has grown comfortable in Columbus.

Maurice Hall

Better Late Than Never - Maurice Hall was once rated as one of the top ten running back prospects in the country. But Hall has had injuries and the depth chart stand in the way of accomplishing his goals at Ohio State. This year, however, Hall went out with a solid senior season and put his name in the OSU record books for kickoff returns. Charles Babb talked with Hall and got his thoughts on his OSU career.

Quinn Pitcock

Pitcock Emerges - With Will Smith, Darrion Scott, and Tim Anderson gone to the NFL, one of the questions coming into the season was who would step up on the defensive line. One of the men to do that has been Quinn Pitcock, who has developed into a presence that opposing offenses respect. Steve Helwagen has more on the emerging defensive tackle.

Brian Hartline

Lost Season - Every senior high school football player has big hopes for their senior season, but OSU commitment Brian Hartline saw his hopes dashed when he suffered a season-ending injury in his first game of the year. Hartline has been busy with rehab though and plans on getting back into the thick of things as soon as he can. Gary Housteau has the latest on Hartline's rehab.

Jim Tressel

Kings Of Recruiting - This time of year, recruiting is starting to get back on the minds of college football fans every year. And, this time of year, you always seem to see some familiar faces when it comes to what schools are making a strong recruiting push. Duane Long lists his top recruiting schools and explains why he feels those schools have been so successful.

Dustin Fox

Things Changed In Quarter No. 2 - Steve Helwagen continues his look back at the 2002 Fiesta Bowl with the latest installment, a look at the second quarter. A touchdown here, an interception and fumble recovery there... don't look now, but Ohio State is up at halftime over the heavily-favored Miami Hurricanes...

Will Smith

Measuring The Class - With the possible exception of Josh Huston, the highly-touted 2000 recruiting class has already come and gone. It saw a wide range of results, as guys like Will Smith, Michael Jenkins, Will Allen, and Darrion Scott came in and did big things, while others saw their careers come to an end too early, and a couple of others had trouble staying out of trouble. We take one last look back at the class and how things went.

Je'Kel Foster
Sudden Impact - Je'Kel Foster's career has taken some twists and turns. After signing with OSU after being with his second junior college in two years, Foster was thrown for a loop when OSU head coach Jim O'Brien was fired. But Foster stuck with the program and is now already seeing significant time for the Buckeyes. Kyle Lamb has Foster's story.

JD Bergman
Bergman Looks To Build On Strong Showing - Last year, OSU wrestler JD Bergman made a tremendous run at the national championships, finishing third at 197. This year, Bergman will be looked at as one of the OSU wrestling squad's top performers. Bergman talks about his season as well as his experience as a walk-on to the football team during the spring.
And more, including...
  • The football legacy of the Harley family

  • Getting to know OSU football commitment Jim Cordle

  • The story of OSU hockey goalie Dave Caruso

  • One-on-one with basketball assistant John Groce

  • And more!
