"It was all right," Lenix said. "Nothing really stood out to me. There really was no people down there – no students on campus – so I didn't really get to see a lot of stuff."
Lenix had previously visited Iowa and Wisconsin.
"Michigan State was pretty much the same as those two, just with no people around," Lenix said. "You can get the same out of all of them."
Lenix was offered a scholarship by Ohio State a few weeks ago. However, he says another school is still at the top of his list.
"Iowa," Lenix said of his leader. "It's a school that I've been following that I like and I can see myself at."
Are Iowa and Ohio State recruiting Lenix the same way? Are they telling him he could play offense or defense?
"Yeah," Lenix said. "They are both telling me I could play outside linebacker, or tailback."
Most feel that Lenix will end up on defense – possibly at safety. But Lenix does not have a preference of where he plays.
"Not really," he said.
Lenix was in close contact with OSU coaches the last few weeks.
"I talk to Mel Tucker a lot," Lenix said. "And I haven't talked to him for a while, but Doc Tressel too."
Lenix will make his visit to OSU in January, along with Glenville teammate and OSU verbal Jamario O'Neal.
"I'm looking forward to it," Lenix said. "I've been down there a lot, but the official will be better. I could see myself playing there and representing my state."
When will Lenix make his decision?
"After I visit Ohio State," he said.
Any chance he commits during his weekend in Columbus?
"Nah, I ain't going to make it that weekend," Lenix said. "Probably about two weeks after that."
