Offers Starting To Come For Robinson

WR/DB Armand Robinson of Reynoldsburg is one of Central Ohio's best-kept secrets as far as football prospects go, but word is starting to get out as some big programs are stepping forward with some serious interest. We caught up with him recently at the Ohio High School Football Guide photoshoot for an update.

Reynoldsburg WR/DB Armand Robinson is ranked as the No. 57 player in the state by Ohio High Magazine.

As a junior in 2004, the 6-1, 190-pound Robinson had 42 receptions for 829 yards and eight touchdowns.

He also had 58 tackles on defense and is not sure what position he will play at the next level.

"I could play receiver or safety in college," he said.

Robinson will make the rounds at various football camps this summer.

"I'm going to Ohio State's for sure," he said. "I'm going to try and hit some one-day camps like North Carolina, Cincinnati, then try and hit some smaller schools."

Robinson has one scholarship offer at this point, with one more on the way.

"Yeah, I've got North Carolina, Wisconsin supposedly in the mail, and that's it so far," he said.

Robinson hopes to make a decision this summer.

"It would be nice to make it before the year starts, but I don't know," he said. "It would be nice to make my decision before the year starts so I can focus on my high school's season."
