Bucknuts TV - Daequan Cook Interview

After playing for years alongside his friends Greg Oden and Mike Conley, five-star hoops prospect Daequan Cook of Dayton Dunbar didn't want to miss their press conference announcing their college decision. Cook drove up I-70 from Dayton to Indianapolis to see his friends make their announcement and stuck around afterwards to answer some questions. In the last segment of video from the Conley/Oden press conference, we have a short video interview of Cook fielding some questions on the class.

The spotlight has been on new OSU hoops commitments Greg Oden and Mike Conley of Indianapolis Lawrence North this week, but guard Daequan Cook of Dayton Dunbar was the first commitment in the dynamite 2006 recruiting class and the one that got the ball rolling for the Buckeyes. Cook has been friends with Conley and Oden for years, and he made the trip from Dayton to Indianapolis on Wednesday to be there when they selected the Buckeyes. After the conference, Cook talked with reporters about his thoughts on the class and what it will be like to play with his friends.
