On Thursday night, Safe Auto defeated Buckeye Corner 81-75 to win the league title. J.J. Sullinger had 31 points and Ronald Lewis scored 24 for Buckeye Corner in that title game.
Earlier that night, New Covenant Believers Church outlasted Union Savings Bank 93-91 in overtime in the consolation game. Terence Dials had 29 points, Je'Kel Foster 21 and Sylvester Mayes scored nine for USB.
Of course, those games came one night after an epic four overtime semifinal game, which Buckeye Corner won over Union Savings Bank 122-115. Lewis had 37 points (including five three-pointers) and Sullinger tallied 29 (with four treys) for Buckeye Corner. USB had Dials with 33 points, Mayes with 31, Foster with 21 (including five three-pointers) and Brayden Bell with 17.
Lewis had 30 points and Sullinger 18 in Buckeye Corner's 83-68 win over City Wide in a quarterfinal on Tuesday.
USB defeated Mitchell-McKinney 81-79 in a quarterfinal Tuesday. Mayes had 27, Bell 16, Foster 14 and Dials 7.
Safe Auto defeated Columbus Christian Center 68-66. Ivan Harris had 21 points and Jamar Butler scored 17 for CCC.
