Two-way lineman Bill Nagy of Hudson, Ohio had a busy summer and was able to find some schools to focus on during the remainder of the recruiting process.
"We went to Illinois and Wisconsin as a family," Nagy's father Bill said. "Both were good visits. Tuesday we stopped in at Illinois. We met coach Zook. He is an impressive guy. Very personable.
"Then on Wednesday, we headed up to Wisconsin. We met the new head coach. We didn't know he was the new head coach at the time. We spent a half hour with him. We found out why."
Two more schools showing heavy interest in Nagy are Louisville and Boston College.
"Louisville called (Thursday)," Mr. Nagy said. "They really like Bill a lot. They have been in on Bill from the beginning. Boston College has started picking up their contact again. That is an impressive education, which is important to Bill."
Now that the summer is winding down, the Nagys are going to choose schools for official visits.
"We are in the process of deciding which schools will get official visits," Mr. Nagy said. "Boston College is one of the schools on the short list for a potential official visit. There are a lot of good offers from quality schools on the table. We will have a visit list shortly."
Nagy (6-5, 295) is one of the top 20 overall prospects in Ohio as rated by Ohio High magazine.
