Hilliard (Ohio) Darby defensive back Taylor Price is finding that out this summer. After turning an impressive 4.29-second 40-yard time at Ohio State's camp in June, the 6-1, 195-pound Price was clocked at 4.25 seconds at Akron recently.
Price told Bucknuts.com he has offers on the table from Akron and Miami (Ohio).
"Miami said they were looking at me as a defensive back," Price said. "Akron is looking at me as a wide receiver. I think they think I could be a good slot receiver."
Price said he is also interested in hearing from Pittsburgh, West Virginia, OSU, Michigan State and Minnesota.
"(OSU assistant Luke) Fickell has been in contact with me," Price said. "I see some e-mails from them."
Price is a three-year starter for Darby. Last year, he had 52 tackles, five blocked kicks, two interceptions and one fumble recovery. He earned second-team all-conference honors in 2004.
"We get started on Monday and I can't wait for it to start," Price said. "I'll be starting on both sides of the ball, plus I'll be involved in special teams with the return game."
Price holds a 2.9 GPA and scored a 1020 on the SAT and an 18 on the ACT.
