Prospect Video: Grant Schwartz

Grant Schwartz of Dana Point (Calif.) Dana Hills HS has some Ohio State roots in his family. His father Brian played at Ohio State in the 1970s, and Grant has been to Columbus on multiple occasions as well. Grant played mostly quarterback last year, but he is being recruited as a defensive back. We have some video clips today of Schwartz playing quarterback from last season. Click the link to take a look.

Schwartz played primarily at defensive back as a sophomore, racking up 70 tackles and two interceptions. A new coaching staff arrived at Dana Hills last fall and Schwartz was moved to quarterback. There, he threw for 1,900 yards and 12 touchdowns and rushed for 500 yards and nine scores.

At the OSU camp, Schwartz had a 33-inch vertical leap, a 4.21-second pro shuttle time and a 4.5-second 40. He benches 295 pounds and squats 435.

Schwartz (No. 4) plays quarterback in these videos. Each video clip runs around 2 minutes.
