It was a great week for Ted Ginn Sr. and the Glenville Tarblooders. First Ginn got great news from the doctor on Thursday that he was cancer free and on Friday he watched his team from the pressbox as they completely dominated the second half against Mentor and came away with a very impressive victory.

Royce Adams returns it to the 39 and the season is underway.

Adams turned in a stellar performance on the night. Including an electric punt return of 64 yards, a kickoff return for 39 yards and and an interception.

So did Small.

He had 5 catches for 62 yards and a touchdown.

So did Bryant Milligan who had four catches for 61 yards and a touchdown.

And so did Bruce Frieson. Unofficially he had 24 carries for 143 yards and two TDs.

He scored the game's first touchdown.

And was the Comcast player of the game.

Freddie Lenix was there.

So was Jamario O'Neal.

Curtis Terry was there.

Future basketball Buckeye David Lighty was there.

Nelson was 17 of 30 for 204 yards.

A happy Ginn came down from the box after the game to address the team.

Two stars of the game.

It was an emotional night for Ted and his wife Jeanette. And a very special one as well.

The win was just a bonus.
