It was an historical and magical night for the Massillon Tigers as they took their traveling act to the road and earned a hard-fought victory over the St. Ignatius Wildcats at Byers Field in Parma. It took a last-second touchdown by the backup quarterback for Massillon, Shawn Weisend, to get the victory and spark a wild celebration on the Massillon side of the field. First-year coach Tom Stacy led his team to their first victory against St. Ignatius in nine tries.

Huth was having a solid game until an injury took him out of the game at the beginning of Massillon's game-winning touchdown drive.

Gamble laid on the turf for a second after letting a sure completion from Huth go right through his hands.

Weisend took over on the last drive and led his team to a score. Just prior to this eventual touchdown play, Weisend completed a huge pass for a first down on a 4th-and-15 play. Here Weisend rolls left...
