This classic Midwestern Athletic Coference matchup pitted the visiting Coldwater Cavaliers, ranked number 1 in division IV, against the hometown Versailles Tigers, ranked number 1 in division V. Future OSU Buckeye Ross Homan led the way for the victorious Coldwater team with 123 yards on 20 carries at running back and more than 20 tackles on defense. Homan, who's been favorably compared to OSU's A.J. Hawk at linebacker, made a valid case for him being a Mr. Football candidate in this game.

Homan's Coldwater team was ranked number 1 in Division IV...

...and the hometown Tigers were ranked number 1 in Division V going into the game.

To no one's surprise, Homan would star in the game on offense...

...and on defense for the Cavaliers.

They delivered the game bal via helicopter.

It was the Homecoming game for Versailles.

And the game was televised on ONN.
