Top Ohio QB chats with fans

Todd Boeckman (6-6, 220) from St. Henry, OH ranks as the top QB in Ohio right now and one of the best in the Midwest. He stopped by the Bucknuts Fan Club Chat on Thursday (5/2) and gave everyone the latest.

Todd Boeckman is a busy man these days. In addition to football recruiting heating up, Todd is a 6-0 pitcher for the #1 baseball team in the Ohio in Division IV. Luckily, Todd was able to fit in a chat with the Bucknuts Fan Club Thursday night. Todd had a baseball game that evening, but the other team helped everyone out in getting Todd to chat with us. "The opponent didn't show up for some odd reason," Todd said.

Things are starting to pick up right now recruiting-wise for Todd. "It is fun time but it is a busy time also," Todd said. "There has been a lot of mail contacts and the phone is starting to ring and the coaches are stopping at school."

Todd listed Ohio State, Maryland, Pittsburgh, and Purdue as his top schools right now, with Ohio State as the leader at this point. The Buckeyes, Terps and Panthers have offered a scholarship so far along with Iowa, Miami (OH) and Eastern Michigan. When can we expect a decision from Todd? "I am planning on attending camps this summer and then possibly sometime before football season begins," Todd said. "I will try to make a decision if I am comfortable with that college."

Todd is going to be camping at Ohio State, Pittsburgh, Purdue, and possibly Maryland this summer.

Whichever school lands Todd Boeckman will get a great player and a great person. We had a lot of fun chatting with Todd and we are looking forward to following him this year!
