Recruiting is underway, and signing day will be here before you know it. Each year, Bucknuts produces a special recruiting-themed issue in which we take a detailed look at the year's football recruiting class and help you get to know the newest Buckeyes better.

The recruiting issue, which usually arrives in March, is one of the more popular issues of the year. It also comes with's special recruiting guide, which wraps up the recruiting season across the country.

    Season in Review: The Bucknuts staff gathers together to take one last look back at the 2005 season. Read their opinions on pretty much everything, including who OSU's top players were, the surprises and disappointments, and their thoughts on next year. Also, Steve Helwagen will bring you a special list of the top moments of the 2005 season. 

    A.J. Hawk

    A.J. Hawk: It didn't end with quite the volume of award hardware as many expected, but A.J. Hawk put an end to an outstanding OSU career with a stellar senior year. We talk about Hawk's accolades as well as the rest of the team awards in this issue.      

    Malcolm Jenkins
    Player Features: Jenkins, Laurinaitis, Huston, Trapasso: Each issue contains articles on Ohio State football players, and this month is no exception as we focus freshmen Malcolm Jenkins and James Laurinaitis, both of whom made solid impacts in their first season, and specialists Josh Huston and A.J. Trapasso.  

    Chris Wells

    Wells Is The Man In 2006 Class - Usually this time of the year, fans are wondering who the highest ranked recruit to commit to Ohio State will be. This year, it doesn't matter who commits from this point on as the Buckeyes already have the No. 1 prospect in the entire country, as rated by Running back Chris Wells of Akron Garfield will lead the way in this class, and we'll be looking back on his season and career this month.  

    Grant Schwartz

    Schwartz Follows In Dad's Footsteps - Like his father Brian, California defensive back Grant Schwartz will be playing his college football at Ohio State. Grant Schwartz saw the Buckeyes play Michigan in the Fiesta Bowl-clinching game in 2002, and now it won't be long until he will have a chance to go up against the Wolverines in the Horseshoe.     Sylvester Mayes

    Hoops Features - We never leave basketball out of the discussion in Bucknuts the Magazine, and in this issue, we have articles on three players. Our men's basketball feature is on JUCO transfer Sylvester Mayes, while we also take a look at women's standout Brandie Hoskins and Indianapolis prep star Walter Offutt, who has committed to Ohio State despite being just a sophomore.
