Here at we want to provide you with information you crave -- the information we need.

With so many exciting developments on the Ohio State men's basketball recruiting front, we thought it was a natural idea to have a place on our free Buckeye Hoops message board where we have schedules, stats and game-by-game results of the key recruits.

For years, we have something very similar with high school football with our weekly updates on the top games in Ohio and those involving OSU prospects outside the state. Now, we take that idea and apply it to high school basketball with a push-pin thread that will head up the free Buckeye Hoops board all season long.

Staff member Kyle Lamb has been instrumental in finding all of this vital information and formatting it in an easy-to-follow way on the message board.

OSU men's basketball coach Thad Matta has signed the nation's No. 2-ranked class for 2006, led by prep standouts Greg Oden and Mike Conley Jr. of Indiana and Daequan Cook and David Lighty of Ohio.

We figured there would be an immense amount of interest in how each of those players fares during their senior season of high school ball. So we have their full schedule and stats back to their season opening games.

But we did not stop there. No, we also have stats on JUCO signee Othello Hunter as well as information on underclassman verbals like Jon Diebler, B.J. Mullens and Walter Offutt.

And Kyle has taken it a step further with a look at other key underclassman targets, including Kosta Koufos, Dallas Lauderdale, Delvin Roe, Yancy Gates and more.

We have taken all the guesswork out of wondering when these players are playing, who they're playing and how they're doing. We plan to update this thread twice a week with the latest results and we invite your comments on these players as we go.
