Massillon (Ohio) Washington linebacker Andrew Dailey completed an aggressive camp schedule Saturday with an appearance at Penn State.

Dailey, the No. 15 prospect in Ohio according to Ohio High magazine, also spent Thursday at Michigan and worked out Friday at Ohio State.

The 6-2, 213-pound Dailey, who holds offers from Penn State, Florida and many others, spoke about his adventure at three of the top schools in the country.

"I started Thursday up at Michigan," said Dailey. "I've been there before and really had a good workout this time. I worked with the linebackers and the coaches said I did really well. They said they're having a staff meeting this week and they would be discussing where I might fit in. They told me they play a 4-3 and I would be a Will 'backer in their set. Coach (Lloyd) Carr told me he liked my play a lot and that I would be hearing from him in a few weeks.

"On Friday I was at Ohio State's camp. Coach (Luke) Fickell spent a lot of time with me. He pulled me aside and worked with me individually also. Coach Fickell told me I had a good workout and that he'd be in touch later next week. I really enjoyed it there and also got to speak with Coach (Jim) Tressel. He said they would be meeting to discuss players and also said they would be in touch.

"Today, I worked out at Penn State's camp. They had already offered me and they said they were impressed that I would drive all that way to work out with an offer in hand. I think I fit in their system really well. I did well in the 7 on 7's and in the individual drills. They told me to take my time and that their offer would always be there.

"The highlight of the week was sitting down by myself with Joe Paterno. My hands were shaking just being with him. He said he just had a physical and his doctor told him he could coach another 10 years."

Dailey summarized his feelings on the recruiting process at this point.

"The offers from Florida and Penn State, as well as the others, are great," said Dailey. "I'm only waiting on decisions from Notre Dame, Michigan and Ohio State at this point. I'd like to make a decision before the season starts. But I want to take my time and see where I stand with all the schools. Of the schools that have offered me, Penn State is at the top right now, and they might stay at the top even if the other three would offer. I'm looking hard at Florida, too."

Dailey is going to make some school very happy on signing day. Not only is he a great player, but he's a sold citizen from a great family as well. We will continue to track Dailey's progress throughout his recruitment.
