1. Prescott Burgess

60%

Down

I don't like what I have heard in the last week about Burgess. I still think he will be a Buckeye but he is going to look around a little harder than most Buckeye fans want him to. Also, in one of the more well-attended scrimmages in recent memory, Burgess did not look like the # 1 player in the state by the consensus of fans in attendance.

2. Donte Whitner

70%

   _

The only negative on Whitner is the wait. He is not showing that he is in a hurry to get this over with.

3. David Patterson

90%

   _

David set his visit up to Miami. He said he will visit Florida early in the season too. I think he comes back from those visits and commits to the Buckeyes.

4. Wesley Jefferson

5. Jayson Swain

Super player and really great kid. Stock is rising and he is wide open on his possible college choices. Has already visited Michigan and I think the Buckeyes get a visit out of him.

6. Sian Cotton

75%

   _

I think it is looking more likely he will be a Buckeye because the only real challenger is Miami and they are showing no signs that they are going to offer.

7. Dareus Hiley

8. Brandon Maupin

70%

   _

I hear he is growing weary of  the recruiting process but may hold off a little longer to try and draw interest for teammates.

9. Michael Bush

60%

   _

The Buckeyes stand a real chance with him because he doesn't want to get too far away from home. I think he may want basketball more but reality will set in and that brings Ohio State and Tennessee into the forefront as close to home football schools but Bush never said anything about Tennessee to me.

10. Todd Boeckman

40%

   _

With Quinn's verbal to Notre Dame the chances he becomes a Buckeye go up some but I still  have not heard that the Buckeyes have increased their interest. There could be no QB taken in this class.

11. Raymond Edwards

50%

I keep hearing he favors the Buckeyes.

12. Ashton Youboty

Great camp season and is the big corner that coach Danotnio loves. Originally from Philadelphia and is a "Tressel Recruit"- 4.0 gpa and a solid citizen.

13. Tripp Carroll

50%

Up

This is the big time national offensive lineman that the Buckeyes have a great shot at. 1200 ACT, 4.5 gpa. Dad is a head coach. I think it comes down to Va Tech and Ohio State.

14. Tim Washington

40%

 Up

Mario Williams is rated higher but I think the Buckeyes have a better shot at Washington.

15. Andrew Bain

30%

Most think he is a lock for Miami but I have talked to him several times and my gut feeling is the Buckeyes get a visit. Nike 1st team All-American. Ran a 4.68 shuttle. Amazing for a 343 lb player.
