Rowe Mulling Over Five

DE Kenny Rowe has all five official visit in the books. What will he do?

There are a few elite defensive end prospects from the state of California among the Class of 2007. One of the best is Kenny Rowe from Long Beach (Calif.) Poly High School. Rowe finished the '06 season with impressive numbers, 101 tackles and 17 sacks.

With three weeks remaining until National Signing Day Rowe has made all five official visits. He has taken trips to Arizona (9-30), Cal. (10-7), Ole Miss (12-8), Fresno State (12-15) and Oregon (1-12).

"Arizona was a good visit. I loved the campus and everything was great.

"At Cal., I love the coaches and I think I fit in well there. Plus, I have a few former teammates there and that makes it a little easier.

"Ole Miss was cool too. Coach O (Oregeron) is a cool dude. The campus and facilities are nice and I wouldn't mind playing in the SEC.

"Fresno State is a good place. I like the staff and facilities.

"Oregon was cool too. I really like the coaches and facilties. Their defense is good too.:

So with his travel now complete all Rowe has to do is figure out what place is best suited for him.

"It will boil down to academics and the depth chart. I hope to have a decision in early February. If not, I will wait until Signing Day."

Cal., Oregon, Fresno State and Ole Miss all made in home visits with Rowe so far this week.
