Ohio High School Fantasy Draft: Day Nine

Over the holiday season the recruiting analyst's on the site decided to have a little fun and test their knowledge of Ohio High School football by conducting a mock fantasy draft.

The football recruiting experts on the site decided to get together and have a little friendly competition.

When the recruiting rankings are finalized there is always a lot of debate over where the players are ranked. We decided to have an all positions fantasy draft to decide exactly where we would take this player when it came down to fielding a team. In the contest it is the National Experts (Bob Lichtenfels and Greg Powers) Vs. the Ohio Experts (Bill Greene and Dave Berk).

Obviously there is no way to factually determine a winner, so after we fill our rosters we will take it to the boards for a poll on who did the best job.

**** For the second round on each team will select their two players back to back. So what that means is each round now two players per team instead of one instead of one.

Roster Breakdown (Each roster must have one of the following):

Bill: A great all around athlete. Will play DE on this team, but could also play LB or TE. Committed to Northwestern.

Dave Berk: Has the type of body college coaches love to work with.  From a smaller program and will have to make some adjustments but the upside is extremely high.  Long arms with good leg drive and feet.  In could stay at end or come down as he grows or even be thrown over to the offensive side of the ball as an offensive linemen.

Withrow

Bill: Another playmaker at WR. Will go over the middle and has great hands. Productive player for Withrow.

Dave Berk: Solid performer who will make all the catches needed.  While he's not the 6'4 receiver many look for today he's got all the tools and is very solid.  Fluid route runner that is only going to get better at the next level.

Bob: This is the big man's "Sushi" special, yes he is raw and unrefined, but…He is 6-7 with wings like a bird and he can move. Missed a lot of time as a junior and is still under-the-radar. That will change once he gets to college.

Greg: Cannot help but LOVE Spike's potential. There were always some major schools sniffing around his trail. Illinois, Kansas, or Akron could potentially get a steal if they can secure a verbal from Spikes.

Bob: Indiana gets much love from me because they came into Ohio and stole a gem. I have seen a lot of middle backers this year, but Repogle may be one of if not the best. This kid is full-bore all game long, got to love him. We have the two baddest inside backers in the state now.

Greg: I really think this is our strongest round, because we got two undervalued guys with such high ceilings. Repogle could have a John Kerr type impact at a school like Indiana. He has a motor that does not stop, and is always around the ball. Plus with us not having any WR spots open I think Dave and Bill made a tactical error by not taking the top LB on the board with this pick.
