Ohio High School Fantasy Draft: Day Ten

Over the holiday season the recruiting analyst's on the site decided to have a little fun and test their knowledge of Ohio High School football by conducting a mock fantasy draft.

The football recruiting experts on the site decided to get together and have a little friendly competition.

When the recruiting rankings are finalized there is always a lot of debate over where the players are ranked. We decided to have an all positions fantasy draft to decide exactly where we would take this player when it came down to fielding a team. In the contest it is the Regional Experts (Bob Lichtenfels and Greg Powers) Vs. the Ohio Experts (Bill Greene and Dave Berk).

Obviously there is no way to factually determine a winner, so after we fill our rosters we will take it to the boards for a poll on who did the best job.

**** For the second round on each team will select their two players back to back. So what that means is each round now two players per team instead of one instead of one.

Roster Breakdown (Each roster must have one of the following):

RB-2

Bill: This is a "Dave Berk" special pick. He better be a good blocker because Morgan Williams is getting the ball 30 times for this team.

Dave Berk: Don't know who Williams is?  Just ask the teams he's played against the past couple of seasons and I'm sure those coaches know the name.  Very explosive player who is only going to get better.  Very athletic in a nice compact body with power and speed.  Someone is going to get a steal in this player.

LaSalle

Bill: Speedy OLB who played along with Ben Martin at LaSalle. Can get to the football and plays with great intensity.

Dave Berk: If not for grade issues Harris would have been one of the top names in Ohio this past year.  Even with questions he found West Virginia very interested in getting this athletic power linebacker who has all the tools needed to excel.  Tough, physical with a nose for the football made Harris an easy pick.

Bob: Give Kowalski two inches and he would have double-digit BCS offers. A great leverage player. He locks on and like a pitbull he won't let go. Theres a few reasons why Jordan Mabin has a ton of career yardage and he is one of the main ones.

Greg: One of the most underrated players in the state. He has great physical abilities, and really drives people off the ball. May be a true center on the next level.

Bob: I have liked this kid since I first laid eyes on him at our combine in Pittsburgh. He is an absolute monster. Like Spikes he is raw and unrefined, but lordy is this kid put together. You give him a redshirt and you will have a potential three year starter.

Greg: In a down year for OL in the state, I feel like we have a solid foundation with a well balanced line. We have two nice guys for the outside, and those road graders on the interior.
