As expected Cordale Scott of Cleveland Glenville received an offer from Ohio State on Monday. Scott, one of the top players in Ohio, received word about the offer today from the Ohio State staff. The Ohio State offer is yet another for the star wide receiver. Bill Greene spoke with Scott to get his reaction on the news.

Cleveland Glenville star receiver Cordale Scott received an offer from Ohio State today. Scott was the subject of many rumors, questioning whether he would receive a Buckeye offer or not, but he confirmed he has his offer.

"Yes, Ohio State has offered me a scholarship," Scott confirmed. "They notified me today. They said a written offer has been sent to my home."

Scott was both elated and relieved to finally hear from Jim Tressel and the Buckeyes.

"I'm just really honored, to tell you the truth," he said. "I was waiting and hoping this would happen. I just want to give thanks to God first, and also to coach [Ted] Ginn."

Scott said there is no timetable for a decision.

"I need to sit down with Mr. Ginn and talk with him," Scott said. "Usually, we like to wait and take our visits, but I'm really not sure when I'll decide. If me waiting allows more recruiters to see my teammates, then I'm all for that."

An Ohio State offer only adds to a very impressive scholarship list for Scott.

"I have other offers from Akron, Bowling Green, Illinois, Iowa, Marshall and Wisconsin," Scott explained. "I really don't have a favorite school. I like all of them. If a school is nice enough to be interested in me, them I'm interested in them."
