OSU Practice, Autographs Moved To Thursday

Monday night's open practice and autograph session was moved to Thursday, Ohio State announced Monday afternoon.

The Ohio State department of athletics has postponed the planned open practice and autograph session set for Monday night in Ohio Stadium because of impending storms approaching the Columbus area.

The event will now be held Thursday. Gates will open at 5 p.m. Thursday night with fans led to the new playing surface, where the autograph session with players and coach Jim Tressel will take place, through Gates 31 and 32. The autograph session will be limited to the first 10,000 fans.

Fans are limited to one item for autographs per person, and no individual posed pictures will be allowed to be taken. No food or sodas will be allowed on the new playing surface.

Following the autograph session, a practice under the nights will begin around 8 p.m. Fans are asked to park in lots adjacent to the Schottenstein Center.

A line of heavy storms that has battered the northern portion of the state is supposed to enter the area this evening and into the night, forcing the postponement. The storms, which are the remnants of Tropical Storm Erin, have caused a flood watch to be posted in the Columbus area.
