Interesting week. He wants to play safety. I thought he had gotten over that. Michigan is telling him what he wants to hear and Ohio State isn't. He did not have a good week in coverage and Delbert Ferguson knocked him out of the game.

2. Donte Whitner

I talked to coach Ginn 2 days ago and things are looking good.

3. David Patterson

He's having a great year. Everyone that sees him says he is a must get.

4. Jayson Swain

Double good news: The chances that he visits is quite high, probably for the Michigan game, and the chances he visits Michigan officially are not good.

5. Tarell Brown

Tarell loved his visit and says he could see himself being the first Texan of the Tressel era.

6. Sian Cotton

He's having a great year. He's been looking good on defense, but has looked really great on offense. His family is pro-Ohio State.

7. Dareus Hiley

Still looking for that breakout game. He's started to take his grades more seriously.

8. Brandon Maupin

It will be Ohio State, Notre Dame and Tennessee. I think it comes down to Ohio State and ND.

9. Michael Bush

The rumor mill is ripe that the Buckeyes are in really great shape here. Wants to play QB.

10. Joel Holler

I don't want to get to optimistic just yet, but my conversation last night with Holler makes me feel awfully good about the Buckeyes chances.

Silence. In recruiting, silence is not golden.

12. Ashton Youboty

The Buckeyes stand a great chance. He wants to know when Whitner sets up his visit to OSU so he can be there too.

13. Mario Williams

Nothing new, but that is good.

14. Tim Washington

He's still listing the same schools, and the Buckeyes have always been in there.

15. Kenyon Buford

At this point, I think we can start speculating about where he fits in the Buckeye offensive line.

Note:

I am only pulling Wesley Jefferson because I have not spoken to him in some time.
