Friday night was a night many around Dublin Coffman High School will remember. The Rocks knocked off Westerville North 63-0 to end their season with a 10-0 record and a conference championship, while the seniors involved with the football program, band and cheerleaders were honored for their involvement along with their parents.
While all the parents and family members were honored to watch their children for one last time, two sets of families received a little extra as they watched their children earn an honor very few have earned over the past several years.
The exploits of Jacob Stoneburner and Mike Adams are well documented in the many files on Scout.com. The pair became two of the top prospects in all of high school football and just happened to be teammates at the same time. Friday night the pair we're named as members of the East squad for the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.
While it would be easy for them to get caught up with all the excitement of the honor both know they still have work to be do before they can think about heading to Texas for the January game.
Mike and Jake spoke with Scout.com after their honor about their senior season, Ohio State and the honor to be part of the All-American Bowl in these video interviews.
