It was Senior Day at Ohio Stadium, with several Buckeyes like Larry Grant being honored before game.

Illinois quarterback Juice Williams hurt the Buckeyes on the ground and through the air. WIlliams threw for four touchdowns.

OSU's Vernon Gholston could not catch Williams before he pitched the ball to Mendenhall. The Buckeyes had no answer for the Fighting Illini offense in the 28-21 loss.
