Mike Adams Talks After Playoff Loss

Saturday night may not have ended the way Mike Adams and his Dublin Coffman teammates had dreamed, but in the end they know they went toe-to-toe with one of the best teams in the country.

In the August heat and sun the goals of a team are set in place. For Adams and his Coffman teammates that goal was to win a conference title and advance to play fifteen games winning a state championship in the end. Saturday night was game fourteen and came against the number one team in Ohio and a team many consider to be one of the top five teams in the country as the Rocks battled Southwest Ohio foe St. Xavier High School out of Cincinnati.

For Adams his future is in front of him as he'll attend Ohio State and be part of the Buckeyes football program. But the chance to do something special with childhood friends and those who worked and sacrificed for the betterment of the team was the goal of the night.

That goal came up short as Coffman went toe-to-toe with the Bombers for four quarters before the final seconds went off the clock with the score 10-7 in favor of St. Xavier.

After the game Mike spoke with Scout.com in this special video interview.
