Cleveland Glenville's Dareus Hiley had a rough start to the season, but he is back in top form now.
"I had a hip pointer early on, but I gutted it out," he said. "I am fine now. I didn't miss any games."
Dareus has been known as a player who can do it all, and so far this year, he has been doing plenty for Glenville.
"I have been playing quarterback and receiver too," he said. "I have been handling all the kick returns and kicking off and punting."
Recruiting is starting to heat up for him as well. He is in the process of setting up his visits.
"I am set to visit Michigan the first weekend in December," he said. "I just came back from Michigan on an unofficial visit. It went real well."
Dareus has also been working on his grades and has a test date set up.
"I am set to take the test on October 26th," he said.
Dareus says early playing time is something he'd like.
"I don't want to sit," he said. "I want to play right away."
Does his mother have any influence on where he will be going?
"If Mom has a preference, she is not saying," he said. "She is going to let me decide for myself."
