Carradine Talks Junior Day & Offer

Sunday saw several prospects looking to pick up offers on their Junior Day visits. One of those was Cornellius "Tank" Carradine from Taft High School in Cincinnati, Ohio. We spoke with Tank after he left Columbus to get his feelings on his visit.

"Ohio State is real big," Cornellius Carradine told BuckeyeSports.com on Sunday afternoon. "Everything is real nice and the coaches are great. You can see why it's such a great program."

While Carradine and many felt he'd be headed back home to Cincinnati with an offer in hand, the Buckeyes staff wanted a little more before pulling the trigger.

"It wasn't that they don't want to offer me. But they want me to have a test score on the ACT or SAT and then come back after taking the test. I understand what they want and I'll be taking the test here in a few weeks and then make another trip there."

What did Carradine like on his visit?

"I really liked the facilities and the coaching staff. You can see Ohio State is a great academic school and that is really important to me. Plus Ohio State won today against Michigan State."

While Carradine came home without an official offer in hand, he feels confident that he'll earn an offer once he's taken his test and has a score to report to the staff.
