Newest Buckeye

Living the dream is the best way to describe how the newest member of the Buckeyes football program feels. Who are we talking about? We have the latest.

Beavercreek High School already has seen a Buckeye craze with the signing of Zach Domicone on National Signing Day.  Now the school is ready for more Buckeye craze as Jeremy LaVoie has received an invite as a preferred walk-on.

“Last Saturday I went up to Ohio State for practice and the told me they wanted me to be part of the team as a preferred walk-on as a long snapper / linebacker.”

For LaVoie he couldn’t be any happier.  He watched with joy as longtime friend Domicone went through the recruiting process and got his Buckeye offer.  And now he understands how he felt.

“Zach and I have been good friends for so long.  This is a lifelong dream and I’m very excited about getting the chance to prove I belong.”

LaVoie is letting nothing to chance.  We found him working out with Zach and their personal trainer who is a former Ohio State strength coach.

Both Jeremy and Zach will be in attendance on Saturday for the Buckeyes spring game.
