McDougald Not Ready To Decide Yet

Dublin Scioto athlete Bradley McDougald has put together quite an impressive offer list. McDougald has offers from Michigan State, Wisconsin, Illinois, Ohio State and others. Does McDougald have a timeframe set for making a decision? Bill Greene has the latest on McDougald.

Dublin Scioto star athlete Bradley McDougald is one of the most heavily recruited players in Ohio. McDougald holds offers from Michigan State, Wisconsin, Iowa, Kansas, Louisville, Ohio State, and many others.

"I'm enjoying the recruiting process," McDougald said. "I've made a few visits and I'm still hoping to make a few more. I was at Michigan last week but they did not offer. I will be at Ohio State's camp on Friday and I still want to see Michigan State and Wisconsin. I will be working out and going through all the drills at Ohio State. I'm hoping to show what I can do."

Even though he stars on both sides of the football for Scioto, McDougald is being recruited by the Buckeyes as a defensive back. He admits to having Ohio State as one of his top schools.

"Ohio State is one of my top schools, but I wouldn't say they are a definite leader," McDougald said. "I'm looking for the school that best fits what I'm looking for. When I find the right school I'm sure I'll know it. I doubt I would commit to Ohio State on Friday. I want to see a few other schools and be able to make comparisons. I want to take my time and make the right decision. I've got a good relationship with [Ohio State assistant] Luke Fickell and I feel comfortable with the Ohio State staff. I haven't really set a timeframe for making a decision, but when I know where I want to go, I'll announce it."

McDougald, 6-1 and 190 pounds, rushed for 1,045 yards and scored 13 touchdowns as a junior. He played some cornerback in 2007 and is being recruited as an athlete by most schools.
