Patterson talks OSU visit

Several star recruits were in Columbus this weekend, and one of them was Warrensville Heights DT David Patterson.

"It was a great visit," he said. "I even got down on the field after the game. The best part was the skull session. All the students all fired up like that... It was really something."

"It was my official visit. Brandon Mitchell was my host."

Interestingly, David let us in on what OSU would like to do with him -- the next Darrion Scott.

"Ohio State wants me at defensive end," he said. "Coach Heacock told me he wants me to play the 6 technique. They want me to play like Darrion Scott does now, sliding back and forth between defensive tackle and defensive end."

This was David's third visit, but it could be his last.

"I am probably canceling my Maryland visit, and I might cancel my Florida visit," he said. "I am not sure about that one."

His last visit was to Boston College; he spoke on that for a bit.

"My BC visit was fun," he said. "I was there with a bunch of Ohio guys that I have gotten to know through the process."

OSU fans have gotten to enjoy watching Darrion Scott, and maybe the second coming of Darrion Scott is on the way!
