New Jersey's Jesse Holley is one of the better athletes on the East Coast. He is a two-sport star who is looking to play basketball and football in college. This wide receiver has several offers and has already taken a couple of visits.
"I know Michigan State is changing coaches, but that does not take them out of the running. A coaching change could happen anytime so you have to look at the entire picture."
At least two other schools are in the picture for Holley - Ohio State and
"I am set up to visit Ohio State on January 11th," he said. "I will visit North Carolina on January 17th."
Jesse's visit to OSU won't be the first time he has been to Columbus.
"I have been in Columbus," he said. "Twice actually. I was just there this summer for a basketball tournament."
Jesse is also getting visits from OSU staff. "Coach Tucker was
here on Monday," he said.
Jesse talked a bit about his season at Roselle Park HS and what positions he's played.
"It was a tough year," he said. "We went 3-7. I took a leadership role and tried to help the younger players understand what it takes to be a championship team. They have to work hard and stay together as a team. It can only make them stronger going through this."
"I played quarterback until my junior year... I caught 52 balls and set the school record. This year, I played receiver for five games but the team needed me at quarterback, so I played five games there."
