OSU will be hosting more outstanding players on visits this weekend, and one of them is fine defensive line prospect Conrad Bolston.
"Yes, I will be making a visit to Ohio State this weekend," he said. "Ohio State is a real solid program. They are up there every year and they have a great defense. I think I could play there early. That is something else I like."
"I already visited Boston College," he said. "I will visit
Maryland next, then Penn State. I don't know about a 5th visit. I am not sure if
I will take one, and I am not sure who it will be if I do."
Not everyone is looking at Bolston as a defensive player though.
"Some schools are recruiting me for defense tackle and others like me at offensive guard," he said.
Ernie Wheelwright is the top wide receiver in Ohio, but he might not get a chance to show it on the college gridiron for another year.
"I am thinking about going to prep school," he said. "Probably Fork Union. That is the one I know about with Eddie George and everything. I just took the test too late, and we won't know for sure on my grades until too late. It looks like the best option for me but we will see."
Meanwhile, colleges are still in contact.
Ernie had a productive season this year for Walnut Ridge. "I had 13 touchdown catches and 3 punt returns for touchdowns," he said.
