The talent level on both team's rosters has impressed Ohio native.
"I feel like these guys are the best of the best," said Mewhort. "I have played against some of these guys or seen their highlight videos. There are a lot of great players here. I am anxious to go out and see how we do on Sunday night."
Not long after the All-Star game clock hits triple zeroes, Mewhort will be enrolling at Ohio State and beginning classes.
"I start class on Monday," said Jack. "I fly back to Toledo on Monday, so I will miss the first day of class and probably the sixth. I am ready to get up there and get started."
All of the pain, sacrifice and hardwork have paid off for Mewhort. He is anxious to begin his college career.
"The main reason I graduated early was to get physically bigger and to become a better football player," said Jack. "I love the city of Columbus and all of the guys, so I am looking forward to being part of all of that."
