Recruiting Update - James Lee

James Lee is a player you might not know much about yet, but you might want to remember the name. This underrated lineman has some good offers and is interested in Ohio State.

These days, when it comes to OSU recruiting, names we have not heard before seem to be coming out of the woodwork.  One name is James Lee, an OL/DL from Belle Glade, FL. Lee attends Glades Central High School, which is the same school as current OSU WR Santonio Holmes.  We caught up with James, who was supposed to visit OSU this past weekend, but had some unfortunate developments.

"I wanted to make it up (to OSU) last weekend, but I had to take the SAT, then I had to run from there to a funeral," he said. "A teammate died in a car crash."

James is going to reschedule though.

"I am trying to reschedule for January 31st, but I want to try and move that up," he said. "I have only visited Rutgers so far."

James' offer list is impressive.

"I have offers from Ohio State, Georgia, Florida, Indiana, Purdue, Rutgers and North Carolina State," he said. "There are some others too, but I can't remember off the top of my head."

It sounds like the Buckeyes will be one of those teams that gets a visit.

"I am definitely impressed with what I see up at Ohio State," he said. "I am absolutely sure I will visit."

Academically, James has things under control.

"I am already qualified with a 2.8 and an 18," he said. "I am all set."
