He may not be ready to decide in time for Christmas but should be soon after. He will enroll in January.

2. Brady Quinn

I am not backing off this. There was more evidence that he is at least thinking about it this week.

3. Michael Bush

Louisville is looking for a new coach. Bush is not going to be around to see who it is. His family is very pro-Buckeye.

4. Wesley Jefferson

He is still sitting on three visits, and Miami is out of the way. He's a Tressel-type recruit, and I think it gets interesting once they sit down together.

5. Turk McBride

It was weeks after his visit when I finally got him on the phone, but he was still excited about his visit. Maybe this could be a coup in progress.

6.  Prescott Burgess

Remember what I said last week: "Rumor mill is alive again this week but my source laughs." I just spoke to him about an hour ago. He is still laughing.

7. Stanley McClover

Quietly, the Buckeyes have crept into his top four. Going into Florida and getting a player of this caliber would be the recruiting job of the year.

8. Dareus Hiley

He goes to Miami with Whitner this weekend. I think a decision comes soon after.

9. Brandon Maupin

He could be close to a decision too.

10. Tim Washington

He will visit in January now. I still like the Buckeyes. He seems to be tiring of the process.

11. Shawn Crable

Now that he has had a great year and Ohio State is coming after him harder, we see the rumor mill kick into high gear, but this is still too close to call.

He could be close to making a decision and I like the Buckeyes.

Word is he is down to two schools: Ohio State and Virginia. He sounded like a Buckeye on the phone.

15. James Lee

Remember the name. Contacts in Florida say he may be the most underrated player in the state.
