Miguel Scott from Miami Killian has emerged as one of the most highly-recruited defensive backs in South Florida. He had 55 tackles, 3 interceptions and 5 pass breakups in 2002 and is currently in the process of setting up his visits.
"I will be in Columbus (Ohio State) on January 17th," he said. "I have already been to North Carolina State and Rutgers. I will also visit Florida and Georgia. All the schools I am visiting have offered."
What made the Floridian look at OSU?
"I got onto Ohio State because it is the defensive back school," he said.
Miguel has been classified by many as a safety, but he says CB is the position for him.
"I play both corner and safety but will be a corner in college," he said.
Miguel also would like to try to get on the field quickly.
"I think I can play early."
