Hall enjoys visit to Miami

Marcus Hall is one of the nation's top-rated offensive line prospects and the four-star took an official visit to Miami this weekend. Scout.com caught up with him to discuss the visit, the recruiting process, his decision, and more. Read on for the latest scoop.

Marcus Hall took his first official visit to Ohio State last month. He saw Michigan two weekends ago. And this weekend, the U.S. Army All-American took in his official visit to the University of Miami.

"It went real good," Hall said. "I really had a lot of fun, enjoyed myself. My host was Richard Gordon. We basically saw the school, met the coaches, hung out with the players, different things like that. I liked it and I saw a good opportunity there."

Hall, 6-foot-5 and 295 pounds, talked about his favorite part about the visit.

"I'd say it was just getting a chance to meet all the coaches for the first time and getting to spend some time with Coach Stoutland and Coach Hill (his two primary recruiters from Miami)," he said. "The coaches are all really cool. I like that about Miami."

Hall, who took the visit by himself, was asked where he now stands with the recruiting process.

"I'm still considering Miami and Ohio State right now," he said. "I don't know what I'm gonna do. I like them both and they're both good opportunities for me."

Hall, who was scheduled to take a trip to Tennessee next weekend, appears to be done with his weekend visits. He has two very important visit dates remaining where he hopes to make a final decision.

"This week's gonna be big," he said. "Coach Tressel's coming to my house on Wednesday and Coach Shannon is coming on Thursday. We'll sit down and meet with them and see how it goes."

After his visit from Shannon, Hall will have less than a week to make a final decision.

"I don't know when it'll be," he said. "I'll have a decision sometime between then and signing day."

Hall is rated the nation's No. 5 offensive tackle prospect according to Scout.com.
