Standout junior Fred Davis

One of Ohio's top juniors is Fred Davis, an outstanding athlete from Toledo Rogers. Duane Long lets us in on the latest.

WR/DB Fred Davis from Toledo Rogers is a top 5 player in Ohio and sure to be a national top 100 player after his performance this season. He followed it up by winning the receivers MVP award at the National Junior Combine held recently in Texas. He is 6-4 and 215 right now.

Davis rushed for over 1000 yards in his first year playing RB and caught passes for 500 more yards and scored 25 TDs. He will be a college WR. He was offered verbally by Texas after his combine performance. Pitt has also offered. Ohio State, Michigan, Penn State, Miami, Oregon, Colorado, Nebraska, Maryland and Iowa are all in touch. Ohio State leads.

Davis is the most explosive player in this class.  Remember his name as it will appear on top 100 lists everywhere next year.
