Scouting Report Glenville Tarblooders

Over the course of the past several years one of the top college prospect producing programs has been the Cleveland (Ohio) Glenville Tarblooders headed by coach Ted Ginn Sr. Last week caught the super athletic Tarblooders in action.

Christian Bryant – CB – Class of 2010

Christian Bryant may be Ohio's Mr. Football if he continues to have performances like he had Friday night against Huber Heights (Ohio) Wayne. Bryant had 100 yards rushing on 12 carries and a touchdown while also passing for 50 yards and another touchdown on the offensive side of the ball. But that's not all that Bryant did on the night. He also handled the kicking chores and returned an interception 82 yards for a touchdown.

Latwan Anderson – S – Class of 2010

Anderson enjoyed a big week as on Thursday he picked up an offer from Ohio State and then on Friday he played a big role in Glenville's victory over Huber Heights (Ohio) Wayne 57-28. Anderson made it known to the Warriors he came ready to play and showed great coverage skills including a one-handed interception that he returned over 50 yards for an apparent score before it was called back for a blocking penalty.

Shane Wynn – CB – Class of 2011

When Glenville loses Bryant and Anderson the cupboard won't be bare as Wynn comes from the same mold as the other Glenville stars. Super fast with quick feet, Wynn doesn't have the size of Bryant or Anderson but is a major threat to make plays on either side of the ball and on special teams.

Andre Sturdivant – LB – Class of 2011

At 6-foot-3, 205-pounds Sturdivant is built like a rock and when he hits you its something you'll remember. At times he looks a little stiff but overall he's very fluid in his movement and will be a player physically ready to play when he gets on campus. Tough and with a hard edge makes Sturdivant a natural defensive player waiting to breakout from the pack. Already holds an offer from Michigan State.

Johnny Robinson Jr. – WR/DB – Class of 2011

Robinson is another Class of 2011 player to keep an eye on over the next several months as he develops as a playmaker at Glenville. More in the mold of Bryant with great speed he needs to continue to develop to reach the level of his current teammate. But the potential is there.

Robert Walton Jr. – RB/DB – Class of 2011

Walton shows great cutback ability and quick feet to go with his great speed and field vision. Good size and physical ability will have Walton as another in a deep class of players for the Class of 2011.

Aundrey Walker – OL – Class of 2011

Big and massive are the best way to describe the physical stature of Walker. Already 6-foot-5, 330-pounds, Walker will need to watch his weight over the course of the next several months. The tools are there to really take his game to another level is he's willing to put in the work needed to be great. Already holds an offer from Michigan State.

Jayrone Elliott – DE – Class of 2012

Elliott has a chance to be a major playmaker on the defensive side of the ball in college. Very fluid in his movement Elliott needs to gain weight and strength but has the ability to be a very good player coming off the edge in college once he puts his mind to it. Reminds me of another former Glenville player Angelo Craig who went on to Cincinnati and had a nice career there.

Cleveland Glenville has no shortage of standout players coming through the ranks. This is just a small breakdown of who stood out the night they were caught in action.
