Overheard at Ohio State: Penn State Week

With another nip and tuck affair expected between Ohio State and Penn State this weekend, much of the talk centered on winning at the line of scrimmage, avoiding mistakes and taking what little things two good defenses will allow.

Every week during the season on the Ohio State football beat, we get more information than we could ever put into a story on BuckeyeSports.com, and in this weekly feature I try to touch on as many topics as possible by sharing everything that made its way into my reporter's notebook. You might find tidbits you missed or more details about something else you saw just a bit of during the week as the Buckeyes prepared to head to Happy Valley to face Penn State.

Prior to heading back to his home state for his first college football game there, Terrelle Pryor was of course a big topic of conversation. The Buckeye quarterback himself got his now-weekly say on what is happening with the team, and teammates Jim Cordle, Anderson Russell, Dan Herron and Ross Homan. Speaking with us also this week were co-defensive coordinator and linebackers coach Luke Fickell, quarterbacks coach Nick Siciliano and head coach Jim Tressel.

Check out all of that in the newest Ohio State football post in the Cus Words Blog.
