Evan Turner did not have to wait long to hear his name called at last night's NBA draft. The former Buckeye standout was taken second overall by the Philadelphia 76ers. The Columbus Dispatch and The Associated Press (via the Cleveland Plain Dealer) have stories on Turner, and Philly.com has plenty of coverage from the draft.

In other OSU/NBA news, former Buckeye Daequan Cook was traded from Miami to Oklahoma City, and the Dayton Daily News caught up with the Gem City native.
