Blackmon Status Up In Air After DUI

Oklahoma State sophomore receiver Justin Blackmon was arrested early Tuesday morning by Carrollton, Texas police on a DUI complaint, the Tulsa World is reporting. OSU head coach Mike Gundy has not indicated whether Blackmon will play in Saturday's game against Kansas State.

The 6-foot-1, 207-pound Blackmon has had a breakout season for the Cowboys and is the national leader in receiving yards per game (158.86), scoring (12.9 points) and touchdown catches (14) through seven games.

Blackmon, 20, was arrested at 3:45 a.m. while driving 92 mph in a 60 mph zone on I-35 North in Carrollton, according to the Tulsa World report.

The Cowboys did not practice Monday and Blackmon and at least one other teammate made the trip to Dallas to see former OSU teammate Dez Bryant play for the Dallas Cowboys in a Monday night football game against the New York Giants.

Blackmon posted a $375 bond and was released from jail at 8:06 a.m. Tuesday. Carrollton police officials said the $375 fine would be the fine for the underage DUI charge.

Blackmon has caught 62 passes for 1,112 yards and 14 touchdowns for the 20th-ranked Cowboys (6-1).
