Johnson's host was current Cowboy freshman Justin Gilbert, but he spent much of his time with the 19 other recruits making their official visit to Oklahoma State.
He also enjoyed spending some time with linebackers coach Glenn Spencer. "We've got a great relationship. We talk a lot."
Johnson says his dad enjoyed the visit almost as much as he did. "My dad had a lot of fun too. He got to bond with the other players' parents."
He says he'll sign with Oklahoma State on Feb. 2, and then begin preparing for returning to Stillwater over the summer. "I'm looking to get on the field next year as a freshman," he said.
The Plano East Panther is ready to be an Oklahoma State Cowboy.
"I'm not going anywhere. I'm going to be a Cowboy for life," he said.
