Curry Keeping An Eye On Cowboys

Wide receiver/safety C.J. Curry of Gainesville (North Hall), Ga., is already committed to Georgia. The 6-2, 185-pounder pledged to the Bulldogs last season while in Athens to watch the Georgia-Tennessee game, but Curry is now getting much more attention with added offers from the likes of Auburn, Stanford and Oklahoma State. Curry says he is still committed to the Bulldogs but ...

"As far as where I want to go I am committed to Georgia and really to Coach (Mark) Richt and his staff," said Curry. "You never know what the future holds and I have always been impressed with Oklahoma State."

Asked to clarify himself, Curry said as long as things remain the same he is heading to Georgia. if things changed he would look at Oklahoma State. Then Curry amended his stance again.

"I'm committed to Georgia, but I am going to look at Oklahoma State," he added. "It is accurate to say I am really impressed with Oklahoma State."

Former Georgia Tech player and Cowboys assistant coach Glenn Spencer is recruiting Curry for Oklahoma State and new wide receivers coach Kasey Dunn is also recruiting Curry.

Curry is expected to check out Oklahoma State this summer when he comes to camp in Stillwater along with his family and his younger brother, Darius (2013 prospect at cornerback). In fact, Darius has already been offered by Tennessee.

In the meantime, C.J. just finished basketball and has track to run as he competes in the 4x100-meter relay and the open 200 and 400 meters.
