Bedlam Moved To Dec. 3

Oklahoma State's final game of the 2011 regular season against Bedlam rival Oklahoma will now be played on Saturday, Dec. 3, at Boone Pickens Stadium, the Big 12 Conference announced Friday. The game will be televised by ABC with the kickoff scheduled for either 2:30 or 7 p.m. (Central time).

The Bedlam game was originally scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 26, but is being moved to "Championship Saturday," when the conference had traditionally played the Big 12 title game.

"The Big 12 Conference has moved into a new era," said OSU athletic director Mike Holder. "We are excited to host Bedlam on one of the biggest days of the college football season."

The Bedlam football game was last played outside of Thanksgiving weekend on Oct. 30, 2004, but has been played on the Saturday after Thanksgiving each of the last six years.

Oklahoma State is coming off an 11-2 season that saw the Cowboys earn a share of the Big 12 South championship and a win in the Valero Alamo Bowl. OSU finished No. 10 in the USA Today coaches' poll. It was OSU's first top-10 finish since 1984 and the first 11-win season in school history.
