Ramacher is set to play on defense this season, but could the 6-3, 225-pounder could be eyeballed by the Cowboys as a fullback, tight end, or both, on offense. That is a position that OSU is recruiting more critically than linebacker.
Last season Ramacher rushed for 175 yards and 3 touchdowns on 23 carries while catching 11 passes for 100 yards and a pinpoint touchdown pass in the back of the end zone from J.W. Walsh, who is now at Oklahoma State as a quarterback.
Ramacher has a bench press max of 305 pounds, a 405-pound max on the squat, and a 285 power clean max. He is a good student with a 3.0 GPA and a 19 on the ACT and a 1440 on the SAT.
Arizona, Arkansas, Baylor, Colorado, Iowa State, Louisiana Tech, Michigan, Minnesota, Oregon, and Oregon State have reportedly offered him a scholarship, while Alabama, Oklahoma State, Kansas, and OU are recruiting him.
Dewey made noise earlier this spring when he won the Golden Gun accuracy award at the Elite 11 Quarterback Tryout Camp at TCU.
Dewey transferred from Austin Westlake to St. Andrews last season and the 6-3, 196-pound thrower completed 59 percent of his passes for nearly 1,500 yards and 13 touchdowns with 5 interceptions while being coached by former Heisman Trophy winner and NFL quarterback Ty Detmer. He has already been asked and has accepted to play in the UnderArmour All-American Game.
Dewey has scholarship offers from Miami (Fla.), SMU, Southern Miss, UCLA, Utah, and Wyomin,g and is being recruited by Alabama, Arizona State, Baylor, BYU, LSU, Oklahoma State, and North Carolina.
