Monday night, the Arkansas commitment received another scholarship offer from Oklahoma State.
"I talked to the wide receiver coach, Coach (Kasey) Dunn and he told me that they were sending me a scholarship offer," said Hatcher, sounding pleased about it.
"He told me that Coach (Mike) Gundy would call me tonight or sometime tomorrow to talk to me about it as well. I know Coach Dunn saw me play this season. He was at my game I think the second week of the season."
Hatcher was at OSU's camp this summer and has made it to at least one Oklahoma State game and will be back on Saturday.
"Yes, I'm going to Bedlam on Saturday, but I was going to go even before they offered the scholarship," said Hatcher.
As for what this does to his recruiting, Hatcher sounds like it is a little closed and a little open.
"I'm still committed to Arkansas," he said. "I'm a Razorback for now, but it is a long process and who knows what can happen. I am going to take my visits coming up.
"I will visit Arkansas, and now I will visit Oklahoma State and then there are a couple of other schools I am considering visiting that I don't want to say right now."
Hatcher's scholarship offer might be considered something developing out of the news on Kendall Sanders, but it really isn't. Oklahoma State was looking for two more wide receivers even with Sanders committed. Hatcher is a prospect they have seemingly been flirting with offering going back to the summer.
