Ogbah Solid After Visiting Stillwater

If there were any concerns over any Oklahoma State commitments after the departure of ex-Cowboys associate head coach/ace Houston-area recruiter Joe DeForest to West Virginia it might have been Emmanuel Ogbah, the defensive end from Fort Bend (Bush) and a finalist for All-Greater Houston Defensive Player of the Year. The 6-4, 233-pound Ogbah was recruited by DeForest and committed early to OSU.

"It went great and I enjoyed everything about the visit," said Emmanuel Ogbah, while riding back home with his parents.

"I loved all of it. The food was great. The players were really friendly and I was excited to see all the guys on the team. Mike Mustafa was my player host and we got along really good," said Ogbah.

Ogbah, who finished this past season with 57 tackles, 47 of those unassisted, and six sacks, two fumbles forced, and a fumble recovered; said he spent most of his time with either head coach Mike Gundy or defensive coordinator Bill Young.

"I like Coach Young and we get along really well," Ogbah added.

A young man that really cares a lot about family and friends, Ogbah said he was originally thinking of majoring in petroleum engineering. However, he says he will now enroll in business, but is still undecided on which path he will take.

As for his parents being on the trip, when we asked him what they thought about Oklahoma State and the visit he said, "They are for me and they are really happy that I'm happy," Ogbah said.
