Ramacher Is On Cruise Control

Dominic Ramacher of Denton (Guyer), Texas was on cruise control riding back from his official visit this weekend to Oklahoma State. The 6-4, 240-pound All-District linebacker who finished the recent season with 105 tackles and four interceptions has been on cruise control in recruiting since last spring when he committed to the Cowboys, and was set to join three ex-Guyer teammates in Stillwater.

One of those former Wildcats is Josh Stewart, who was Ramacher's host on his visit this past weekend.

"I've been up there so many times but each time I go I realize that Oklahoma State is where I want to be," said Ramacher. "It was a great visit and no question I went through recruiting the easy way."

Ramacher did say he had time to talked with Oxford, Ala. defensive back Trae Elston, who was visiting this weekend and left at 3:30 a.m. to get to Oklahoma City to catch the first flight out to get to Baton Rouge, La., to make a late visit to LSU.

"I talked to him a whole bunch and he said his recruiting had really kind of been a burden that last week or so," said Ramacher.

"Absolutely," added Ramacher in answering the question on whether his recruitment had gone as smooth as he would have preferred.

He will sign in a ceremony at 7:45 a.m. Wednesday and then officially he will be a Cowboy.
